June Membership Meeting

Pharmaceutical Waste

Please join us for our June Membership Meeting as Rick Bielski, of Waste Management / Enserv, discusses codes and solutions for pharmaceutical waste.

Mr. Bielski is experienced in all facets of the waste industry including medical waste, hazardous waste, solid waste, recycling and document destruction. He has been in the medical waste business for over 11 years.

Mr. Bielski, for the past 8 years, has developed a unique expertise in the area of identifying and managing hazardous pharmaceutical waste. This focused perspective coupled with a desire to shorten the learning curve for professional colleagues and their respective organizations led him to establish many successful RCRA programs in Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri.

The Waste Management and Waste Management PharmEcology staff also have many years management experience in pharmacy practice and related enterprises. They understand the problems involved in managing pharmaceutical waste streams in compliance with the EPA's Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.

Please encourage any of your Engineering, Facilities and Plant Operations Department Staff to attend this meeting. CEO's and members of the Risk Management, Environmental Services, and Housekeeping Departments may also find this topic of interest. Please RSVP no later than Friday, the 4th of June by 4:00 pm. .

Think About It...
"Get over the idea that only children should spend their time in study. Be a student so long as you still have something to learn, and this will mean all your life."
