A Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section has recently been added to the website. Here, you will find answers to common questions. The first item added to this section is, "Have my 2010 Membership Fees been paid?" Keep an eye on this section as more questions will soon be answered.

You can expect a few more new additions to the website within the next couple of days so be sure to check it frequently.

Membership fees for 2010 are now due. KCAHE's membership year runs January thru December, therefore all memberships expire December 31st of each year. Beginning March 1st, we will be able to send emails to only those members who have paid their 2010 membership fees. At that same time, we will begin to update the online membership directory listings to include only 2010 members.

We hope that you have found value in your membership with KCAHE and will choose to continue your membership through 2010. Memberships can be renewed online or through the mail by printing the registration form (Word or PDF.

Please complete your 2010 registration as soon as possible.

Technology Life Vs. Product Life

Please join us for our March Membership Meeting as Kourtney Govro, Vice President of All Systems and CEO of Sphere3, discusses strategies for increasing the lifespan of existing platforms.

When making purchasing decisions involving platforms, we typically examine both the product life and the technology life. We make purchases with the burden of knowing technological enhancements will soon be made resulting in a shortened life-span. Kourtney will discuss the concept of Workflow Ability which can extend the technology life by 3-5 years thus balancing the difference between technology life and product life, leveraging the original investment.

Please encourage any of your Engineering, Facilities and Plant Operations Department Staff to attend this meeting.
