Renee Jacobs steps down as President of KCAHE

Fellow KCAHE Members,

Due to my recent resignation as the Vice President of Facilities and Construction for Saint Luke’s Health System, I am formally announcing my retirement as a Healthcare Member of the Kansas City Area Healthcare Engineers. In order to comply with the KCAHE bylaws, my retirement requires me to step down as President of KCAHE. Ric Slanczka, as President-Elect, will be immediately stepping in to assume the role as President of KCAHE.

The KCAHE organization is a tremendous resource for promoting education, networking, and leadership for its membership. This organization and the people that are involved in this organization are invaluable and continually prove to be true friends and business colleagues.

I want to personally thank each and every one of you for your continued support and involvement in the KCAHE organization. This organization is absolutely the region’s premier organization for professionals specializing in healthcare facilities management. Each and every one of you make KCAHE the truly great organization that it is today and will continue to be in the future.

I look forward to seeing you all at the November 13th membership meeting.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in KCAHE!

Renée R. Jacobs, SASHE, CHFM, CHC
